ISP Monitor and Evaluation Permits You to Make an Informed Decision about Your Internet Using Real-Time Data

This program equips nonprofits with accurate, real-time data at no cost that you can review prior to requesting a quote from international internet service providers so you can verify that their internet meets your needs.

The global map below shares detailed information about ISPs globally. Telecom4Good, through our proprietary API with the NGO Meraki dashboards, collects real-time data like Packet-loss, Latency, and Uptime of all of the ISPs in a specific city. The real-time data allows nonprofits and NGOs to determine the highest quality ISPs and compare their cost per megabyte and last mile solution (Fibre, Private Wireless, Microwave or VSAT)

Select a Country, City, ISP or scroll into the map to see all the different ISP options. Each color represents a different ISP in each city.

Manage Your Internet With Confidence

In many regions, it can be difficult to understand which ISPs make for the best partner. Our ISP monitor and evaluation program provides you with accurate, real-time data not found anywhere else. Without this program, many nonprofits are forced to rely only on the information these internet service providers give. Now, you can see exactly what kind of service they provide in real time so that you can manage your internet with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re considering our ISP monitor and evaluation service, know we’re here to help you make an informed decision.

Does Telecom4Good charge nonprofits to use the ISP Monitor and Evaluation service?

No. This service is available to participating nonprofits and NGOs at no cost as part of our ongoing investment into all nonprofits.

Does Telecom4Good sell or give the data to anyone outside the participating nonprofits and NGOs?

No. Telecom4Good does not share, sell, convey, or broker this data with anyone outside the nonprofit/NGO sector.

Exactly what information is collected from a participating nonprofit/NGO Meraki dashboard through Telecom4Good’s proprietary API?

Telecom4Good collects the first 5 digits of the nonprofit’s Latitude and Longitude, along with Network Uptime, Network Packet Loss, and Latency for each network in the organization’s Meraki Dashboard.

Once I request access to the ISP Monitor and Evaluation Service, how long will it take to get access to the live global map and provide our API key?

Typically, Telecom4Good will provide you with access within 24-48 hours during a business week. We first confirm that the requesting participant works with a nonprofit/NGO, and their Meraki Dashboard API key is accurate.

How often is the ISP monitoring and evaluation data updated?

The data is always live. If you are looking at a custom date range, then you will get an average packet loss and latency over that time period.

Can I share my login credentials with someone else at my company?

No. Each person that needs access to the data is required to create their own account.

If our organization has uploaded our Meraki Dashboard API key, does each staff member that would like access to the data need to provide a different API key?

No. Only one API key is needed for each organization. Telecom4Good will provide access to each staff member that requests access once the organization has been approved.

Can I deny or remove our API key at any time to not allow Telecom4Good to pull GPS, packet loss, and latency information from our Meraki Dashboard?

Yes. You can remove the API key by logging into your Meraki Dashboard and removing the key from your system. This will terminate the API key access to Telecom4Good.

What if my username/password was compromised? Do I need to change my credentials?

Yes. If your username or password was compromised, you will need to request a new username or password.

Does Telecom4Good monitor the IP address of each user at login?

Yes. Telecom4Good is dedicated to both security and not compromising the data outside of the nonprofit/NGO sector. If a user has multiple IP addresses accessing their login, the user will be sent an email and possibly a warning. If multiple IP addresses continue, the user will be deleted from the system and will need to request updated user access.

What types of nonprofits can take part in this service?

We work with all nonprofits looking to improve their internet. Your mission matters to us. We want you to have the ISP you need to care for others with confidence.

How do I know if this program is right for my nonprofit?

Our process is simple and straightforward, allowing you to get the answers you need to determine whether or not you want to use this service. Simply schedule a consultation, and our team will be in touch to help you start making data-driven decisions.
